The series of portraits shown below were originally part of Palace von Bothmer and were removed and taken to Schwerin were they have been stored. The photo below shows the interior of Palace von Bothmer before items were removed and one can recognize some of the portraits hanging on the walls. Also take note of the condition of the artwork that has now been stored away from it's original place in Palace von Bothmer. Several paintings are showing severe deterioration.

Exterior of Palace von Bothmer: The structure is architecturally unique to the region and is one of the largest examples of it's kind. It is hoped to renovate this beautiful structure back to it's once great pre-war glory and make it a destination point of interest for visitors to the northern region of Germany.
